About Me
I’m a Cambridge-educated academic with more than 30 years experience of UK Russell Group universities, most recently as a Professor and Associate Dean at the University of Southampton Business School.
As UK CEO and Lead Career Adviser at a British-Chinese education company, I advised high-achieving students on university choices, including Oxbridge masters and PhD programmes.
Closer to home, I’ve guided my own three children through the same big decisions, and I’m immensely proud of where they’ve got to. Amelia, formerly an Associate at ‘magic circle’ law firm Slaughter and May, is now studying for an LL.M at Columbia University. Theodore is a Category Specialist at Red Bull, and Ben is a future trainee solicitor at Clyde & Co.
I now bring all of this experience to students and families in Winchester and online, alongside studying counselling and psychotherapy at Regent’s University London.

Director of Innovation, NquiringMindsI very much enjoyed a ‘career pivot’ as Director of Innovation at this fast-growing start-up, a leading UK ‘deep tech’ AI/cyber company providing data sharing and analytics platforms across a wide range of industry sectors.
